Position Title: Marketing Specialist

Salary Range: High potential to be promoted to paid position based on working performance

Love Builder Non-Profit Society is striving to create awareness and establish a custom of respecting and caring for seniors amongst the younger generation through our Love Caravan Intergenerational Program. In 2021, we are pushing to upgrade our annual Cross-Canada program. We sincerely welcome youth talents to join us for planning a better intergenerational public event across Canada. As a management team member, the Human Resource Specialist plays an essential role in assisting Love Caravan’s team with employee and volunteer recruitment, record maintenance, payroll processing, and providing clerical support to all employees. We’re looking for a take-charge, perceptive and creative individual who is a conceptual thinker with superb organizational, time management, administrative, and communication skills.

  • Developed outreaching skills, sponsorship development experience, and established technical writing ability are preferred. Confidence when speaking publicly, with an enthusiastic presence on stage.

  • Proof of formal training (certificates, diplomas, class credits, etc.) in Marketing, Public Relationship, Communication, Business Management or a relevant field; or experience on corporation level is an asset but not mandatory.

  • Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills as well as think strategically and execute methodically.

  • Ability to translate data and research into actionable marketing plans that inform branding and campaign development. Excellent communication skills. Multilingual a plus.

  • Knowledge or experience of how to best present group ideas and goals to both sponsors and the public. We encourage creativity and a “think-outside-the-box” approach!

  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements and market research methods. Familiar with social media outlets (including Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook).

  • Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Marketo, Google Analytics, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), and content management systems; knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) desired. Graphic design and video editing is a plus!

  • Great reliability, detail and target-oriented, team attitude coupled with a flexible, “can do” attitude. Take initiative when required.

  • Overseeing and improving the Love Caravan’s different social media pages including writing posts, putting together analytical reviews, implementing social media advertising campaigns, improving pages’ attraction, and ensuring all information on social media is up-to-date and accurate.

  • Proactively developing appropriate channels with sponsors at private, corporate and governmental levels. Efficiently composing funding proposals to meet fiscal targets.

  • Brainstorming cross-functionally to devise and implement creative marketing campaigns such as email, social media and events periodically. Figuring out ways to increase the Love Caravan program brand awareness and create a brand presence unique to various projects.

  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas. Developing a network of media and blogger contacts to enhance the promotion of Love Caravan program.

  • Supporting the production of presentations, briefing, videos, and other event marketing assets.

  • Negotiating and executing contracts for both large- and small-scale events. Analyzing marketing trends and data (including campaign results, SEO, design reflection, conversion rates, and traffic) to help shape future marketing strategies.

  • Analyze event ROI based on predetermined pipeline, MQL metrics using CRM, email marketing and similar systems. Create marketing reports showing achievement of critical metrics regarding lead generation, content creation, website traffic, and other KPIs

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
